How many guests can be accommodated for a wedding reception?
The Eagle’s Nest has a maximum capacity of 350 guests and the Bear’s Den has a capacity of 200 guests.

I am not familiar with the location of Wild Mountain. Where are you located?
Nestled deep within the St Croix River Valley, Wild Mountain has three banquet rooms located in a rustic chalet seven miles north of Taylors Falls, MN. Wild Mountain is located one hour north of the Twin Cities.

Do you have a required Food and Beverage minimum expenditure?
Wild Mountain has no food minimums, unless alcohol is served. When alcohol is served, Wild Mountain requires the ordering of either one (1) entrée per person or a minimum of three (3) trays of hors d’oeuvres per twenty-five (25) people. There is no bar minimum.

What is required to confirm a Banquet Room reservation?
A deposit is required and also a signed contract to confirm the reservation and to bind the signed party to the reserved date and full payment. The amount of the deposit will consist of the total room or tent charges and the security deposit.

Are taxes and gratuities included in your prices?
No. All menu prices and an 18% service charge on all food and beverages are subject to applicable sales tax.

When is the final meal count due?
Confirmation of final attendance for each meal must be received ten (10) days prior to the scheduled function date. This attendance count will be considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction, and charges will be made accordingly.

When is the final payment due?
Total amount is due in advance for all functions. Balance of account is due and payable no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled event date.

What is your cancellation policy?
A refund of 50% of the initial deposit for chalet rental will be made if: the signed party gives Wild Mountain eight (8) weeks written notice of their intent to cancel said event. If the notice of their intent to cancel is received with less than eight (8) weeks prior to said event, there is no refund of the deposit.
